The Zoo!

Today I got the bright idea to go to the zoo at noon. Yes that was stupid! It was CRAZY!! It took us an hour once we got in to Forest Park to actually find a parking spot. And than once we got inside it was crowded!! But the boys still had a blast. We didn't get to see everything but I told Blake we would come back next week.

For those of you that don't know we live like 30 mins from the best zoo in the States! The St. Louis Zoo! And the great thing about it it is free to get into. Now there are some extras you have to pay for.

Back to the zoo adventures. First we went to the childrens zoo. That is one of the extras but it is worth the $4 to get in. Jeremiah had a blast with the water fountains.

He didn't like the billy goats all that well though. He really didn't want anything to do with them! lol


We than made our way to Big Cat Country. We finally got a new lion!! Our lions died about 2 years ago. The baby tigers were also out and laying around. They are the cutest.

On our way out we had to stop and see the prairie dogs. Their babies were also out, and they are so cute! I think Jeremiah liked watching them the best.

All in all it was a good day and the boys were wore out!!
